Love Alive School of Music

Love Alive School of Music has been in existence since 1982. Since which, we have established music and performing arts schools and affiliations in Bermuda,
Florida, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Georgia and England.

Our Philosophy

We have two major philosophies. The first simply says, "We must not allow anything that cannot think, out-think us. It took a thinking man to make it, it takes another thinking man to master it." Secondly, we believe that, "Proper practice prevents poor performance."

Most of our failures in life come from either a lack of knowledge or a lack of quality thought. Our students are always challenged to think and to set higher goals for themselves. With each lesson they are encouraged to make steps closer to attaining such goals.

The directors of the school have taken on the comprehensive challenge of developing the students in all areas and styles of music. Students are trained to adapt from playing and singing Classical to Jazz; from reading music to playing by ear; from learning harmony to the expression of improvisation; from conducting choirs to conducting a symphony; from playing acoustic piano to the mastering of electronic keyboards, synthesizers and work-stations; from handling the recording studio to the comfort of the big stage; and many more divisions of musical trainings are offered.

We feel obligated to the success of our students. This we do by impressing on their hearts and minds to move forward, rather than to dwell behind. Don't give up, regardless of how high the mountain may appear. Simply climb the mountain and realize your dream. Determination will bring you to your destiny. Little will become much if you place it in God's hand.

Dr. Benjamin E. Mays once wrote,

It must be borne in mind that the tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy
lies in having no goal to reach. It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity
not to dream. It is not a disaster to be unable to capture your ideal, but it is a disaster to have no
ideal to capture. It is not a disgrace to reach for the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to
reach for. Not failure, but low aim is sin.
